FEEDER
STEERS & HEIFERS
Feeder steers and heifers traded on an active market and sold mostly
$$1.00-2.00 higher on all weights, grades, kinds, and sexes as
buyers pushed to finish orders as this is the last week of sales at
area markets. The heavier weight bull
calves showing a good bit of maturity and the heifers over 500#
showing a good bit of flesh are being met with
resistance. The lighter muscled steers
and heifers and BULL calves weighing over 500# traded $65.00-$75.00
while the lighter weights traded $80.00-$92.50.
SLAUGHTER COWS & BULLS
sold on an active market and traded mostly steady-strong when
compared to last week's trade. There
were very few slaughter bulls offered.
