higher on all weights and grades when compared to last week's trade. The lighter muscled steers and heifers
and bull calves weighing over 500# traded
$70.00-$85.00 while the lighter weights traded $80.00-$110.00.
SLAUGHTER COWS & BULLS
sold on an active market and traded mostly steady to $2.00
higher with the most increase on the leanest utility cows. The bulk of the
slaughter cow and bull trade were top cutter-average utility cows with
few bulls in the mix.
